THINGS WE CAN ALWAYS USE
Fleece Pouches:
for bonding or cages. Zippered Bonding pouches
are needed for our new parents to begin the bonding process, and for us to give the love and enrichment these gliders
need daily.
Fleece: Send us a yard of fleece or even fleece scraps (we use to stuff glider toys and pillows).
If you can't sew we can always use the fleece to sew items here or use scraps in making new toys. We also line the drop pans
with fleece as we all know pine and cedar shavings are bad for gliders. Using fleece on the bottoms of our cages help us save
money on disposable bedding which in turn saves us money and keeps our babies safe.
Water
bottles: Something like a new water bottle
goes a long way. After time using water bottles they tend to leak and that can cause a glider to run out of water at the wrong
time. Petco or PetsMart gift cards can also help a lot.
BML INGREDIENTS
Honey
Gerber or Heinz chicken baby food
Rep-cal calcium suppliment (pink lable)
Repcal multivitamin (blue lable)
Baby rice cereal
100% pure apple juice, and applesauce
wheat germ
non perishable foods or
even a We also use PetPro Happy Glider pellets soaked in 100% pure apple juice,
no sugar added. Happy Glider is a great way to offer your suggies a different meal 1 or 2 nights a week while still offering
your suggies the nutrition they so need and deserve.
Gift cards to WalMart or King Soopers,
Safeway, Albertsons, Target, K-Mart, Petsmart, Petco
Wheels- Wodent wheels, Stealth wheels, GIANT Silent Spinners or other glider safe wheels. Wire wheels do
not mix well with gliders. Wheels with a bar in the middle can cause injury if their tail gets wrapped around it.
Glider-safe Toys: Just
about anything small and plastic. Shower curtain rings, barrel of monkeys, little army men, feathers, baby/toddler toys, weebles,
little people by fisher price, little people's noahs ark, ferret balls, ferret tents, liberty type bells, plastic bird
and ferret toys. (please nothing with catnip as it is toxic to gliders)
Toddler tents for bonding Direct Medical donations: These donations can be made right to our Vets. Dr. Grant at CSU medical in Ft. Collins, CO. and
to Alameda East. Those donations will be used for any sick gliders in our care, initial medical exams done on every glider
that comes through our doors, and the many, many Neuters we do on a regular basis. We believe if we can neuter every male
that comes to us, we are making a huge difference in the amount of gliders bred. If there were homes for all the gliders being
bred in this country, there would be no need for rescue.
Donations through paypal:
These can be sent using the email address SuggieSavers@gmail.com. We can use the funds you send to help buy much
needed items for these abandoned gliders. If 100 people send just one dollar, that is $100 we could use to help gliders.
Cages, If you live in the Denver Metro area we can always arrange drop off or pick up of cages
or order us a cage and have it shipped directly to us.
Food Processor: with the slicing option. We cut between 10-15 melons a week for our little furry friends. If you
have an old one that still works we would love this donation. Cutting down on the hours cutting fruit will help us spend more
time with our little suggies.
BLENDERS:
for making lots of BML
There are many ways you can help us help the gliders. If you would like
to help please email us at SUGGIESAVERS@GMAIL.COM
Also if you have some items to mail to us, please email for address.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING RESCUES. If you are not in our areas, you can always call your local shelters
and rescue groups, they can always use a little help too.
Another wayto help is to AlWAYS research before you buy any pet, spay and neuter your
pets, buy from rescues, donate, and volunteer. One person can make a HUGE difference, just ask our gliders.
THANK YOU AGAIN!
